Strawberry Jam With Chia

This strawberry jam recipe is quick and healthy, made with chia seeds and a delicious cardamom flavor.

Ingredients:

500g of fresh strawberries;

Juice of 1/2 lime;

1 tablespoon honey or date/agave/maple syrup (optional – omit for an even healthier version);

1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder;

2 tablespoons of chia seeds.

Preparation method:

Wash the strawberries well, remove the leaves and cut them into small pieces;

Place the strawberries in pieces in a pan, over medium-low heat, along with the lime juice (and possibly the honey/syrup, if you choose) and let it cook for around 15 minutes, stirring frequently so that it doesn't stick to the bottom;

Add the cardamom and chia seeds, mix, turn off the heat and let cool;

Pour into a glass jar and reserve in the refrigerator. Consume within 1 week.
